Students continued their close analysis of their magazines, and we went back through the essay outline to make sure students all knew how to address the question. |

Today's lesson was slightly disrupted by the round of Year 10 injections; however, students worked in mixed twos and threes to unpick exemplar pages from Zoo and Heat magazines. Students are preparing to write their first coursework essay. |

In a change to the lesson advertised in some listings, today we re-examined the way magazine front pages were constructed and students began to draft their own, for a brand new magazine. Boys in the class devised a new magazine for young women, while girls devised a new magazine for young men. |
